Hero of the Common Folk

Hero of The Common Folk is an amber lager that utilizes Florida grown rye and heirloom corn grown in the Appalachia region. All of the grain for the batch was grown in the southeast region of the US and malted by Riverbend Malting located in Asheville, NC.
This batch is a collaboration with Tampa Bay Brewers Alliance. Artwork for the can was produced by the local artist Trash Panda.
Aroma- notes of toasted bread, biscuit, corn, slightly earthiness
Flavor- slight caramel, biscuit, low to low medium pronounced bitterness from hops, semi-dry finish
